  If you're renting a place and Affinity Property Managment is the company your landlord uses, beware. Although the price for my 2 bedroom apartment on King Street in Pottstown was very reasonable when I first looked at it, once moving in my opinion changed. The property manager in charge of my unit waited until after I signed my lease to tell me that the maintenance man took her set of keys and she would need me to come back in an hour to come get them. I came back to find the office locked and closed for the day. Luckily someone was in the front of the office and relunctantly assisted me. After another hour and a half waiting the maintenance man finally showed up with my keys. When I called to address my issue she didn't have a good explanation on why she left the office and didn't feel the need to let me know. I've had many issues with this company, included being billed for the month I moved in when I paid for that month in order to move in, numerous power outages during the winter months where emergency maintence was called after office hours and no one answered, a leaking roof into my 2nd bedroom, and unprofessionalism. I blame 25% of my issues on my slum of a landlord and the other 75% on this company. With that said, if you have to settle for an apartment which is managed by this company, make sure that your landlord is reliable.
